Ingredients (use organic ingredients where available):

  • 1 package (8 ounces) softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Frontier Bar-B-Quick Barbecue Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Frontier Bac’Uns

 

 

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese and seasoning mix. Place in refrigerator to chill if cream cheese is too soft to mold with hands. When ready, spread half of the Bac’Uns on a clean surface or wax paper. Roll the cheese mixture over the Bac’Uns to form a log. Pat Bac’Uns into cheese surface. Repeat until all the Bac’Uns are used.

 

 

Chef Suggestions:

Add 1 teaspoon cayenne for extra kick.

Stir additional Bac’Uns into the cheese mixture before chilling.

Serve with crackers as an excellent low-carb appetizer.
