Green Chia Smoothie
Aztecs were the first that cultivated the Chia seeds, which are known by their richness in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Parsley also plays huge role here, since it is flavorful and loaded with vitamins and minerals. The banana imparts a creamy texture and touch of sweetness.
Here’s how to make it:
- 1 banana, peeled
- 10 green grapes
- ½ bunch parsley (a generous amount)
- 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- ½ lemon, juiced
- ice (optional)
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until you get a smooth texture, so there will be no bits of parsley stuck in your teeth. If it is too thick add water or some more almond milk. If it’s too sweet, add more lemon juice.
